For those of you who are old enough to remember 'Challenge Anneka', I bring you 'Challenge Andrew'!

This summer, Andrew is embarking on what is arguably his most ambitious challenge to date, The Tour 21.

This epic event sees a team of 25 amateur cyclists set off from Bilbao, one week ahead of the professionals, to cycle all 21 stages and the full route of the infamous Tour de France, finishing at the Champs-Élysées

Last October, Andrew visited a sunny Paris for the announcement of the tour route and along with enjoying an interesting talk by former French racing cyclist, Marion Rousse, he also rubbed shoulders with our very own Mark Cavendish.

Andrew’s training is well underway, and he and his bike have been spending an awful lot of time together. He has a number of training camps in the diary and recently spent a week pedalling in the Spanish mountains.

The team at bdb are helping him to keep in shape by eating his share of biscuits in the office. I know, not all heroes wear capes!

You can find out what inspired Andrew to undertake this demanding adventure by watching the video below.

Tour 21 is partnered with Cure Leukemia, helping to raise vital funds. I am sure when Andrew's legs are tired he will be spurred on by knowing what a difference the monies he raises will make to such a fantastic charity.

If you would like to sponsor him and encourage him on his way you can do so by either clicking here or scanning the QR code below. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

I have no doubt that you all join me in wishing Andrew the best of luck for, if possible, an enjoyable and safe ride!
